Repeals Section 41-41-191, which prohibited abortion after 15 weeks' gestation except for medical emergencies or severe fetal abnormalities.

Repeals Section 41-41-34.1, which prohibited abortion of an unborn individual with a detectable fetal heartbeat except when necessary to prevent death or serious bodily impairment to the pregnant woman.

Deletes the provision in Section 73-25-29 that subjected physicians to license revocation or disciplinary action for performing abortions after detecting a fetal heartbeat.

Effective July 1, 2024.
