Restores voting rights to Kynoa Trotter of Pike County, Mississippi, who lost the right to vote due to felony convictions.

Trotter was convicted of burglary nonresidential on October 31, 2017, in Pearl River County and sentenced to seven years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Trotter was convicted of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon on March 4, 2019, in Walthall County and sentenced to two years in custody plus five years probation.

Trotter was discharged on May 19, 2020, upon expiration of his sentence and has since demonstrated law-abiding and honorable conduct.

The act takes effect upon passage.
