Prohibits any person from simultaneously holding more than one elected office, including federal, judicial, state, county, or municipal positions

Requires elected officers who win election to a different office to resign from their previous position before taking the oath of office for the new position

Bars individuals from taking the oath of office for a new elected position if they fail to resign from their previous elected office; the vacancy shall be filled according to law

Applies to all general and special elections held on or after July 1, 2024
