HB 477 - Medicaid DME Reimbursement

• Changes durable medical equipment (DME) reimbursement calculation to the lesser of provider's usual and customary charge or a fee from the statewide uniform fee schedule updated January 1 annually.

• Establishes the statewide uniform fee schedule based on 100% of the Medicare Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS) Rural Fee Schedule in effect on January 1 of each year.

• Extends the repealer date for Section 43-13-117 from July 1, 2024 to July 1, 2025.

• Takes effect July 1, 2024.
