Increases maximum total assistance per county from $1,010,000 to $1,100,000 under the Rural Fire Truck Acquisition Assistance Program.

Adds one additional fire truck to each eligible tier, increasing from 15 to 16 trucks for counties with no prior assistance and proportionally for counties with prior assistance.

Increases the number of fire trucks counties can purchase at the $90,000 price tier from four (4) to five (5) trucks across all eligibility categories.

Applies to counties and municipalities that pledge to match at least one-tenth (1/10) of requested funds locally over a ten-year period and meet other eligibility requirements.

Effective July 1, 2024.
