Appropriates $13,000,000 from the Health Care Expendable Fund to the Department of Finance and Administration for grants under the Mississippi Hospital Recovery Trust Program through June 30, 2025.

Appropriates $2,000,000 from the State BP Settlement Fund to the Department of Finance and Administration for the same grants program through June 30, 2025.

Appropriates $135,000,000 from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund to the Department of Finance and Administration for the same grants program through June 30, 2025.

Department of Finance and Administration must verify that expenditures comply with federal Social Security Act Section 602 (American Rescue Plan Act) eligibility requirements and ensure recipients do not receive duplicate reimbursement from other sources.

Recipients or the department that improperly expend Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund monies must repay the State of Mississippi for any amounts the federal Treasury Inspector General determines were used in non-compliance with federal guidelines.
