Creates new Section 25-11-109.1 allowing public school bus drivers to receive creditable service for work performed on or after July 1, 2024, regardless of hours worked per week or month.

Defines a public school bus driver as a full-time employee in any month where they work at least half the full-time equivalent workload and earn at least half normal compensation for the position.

Establishes two pathways for bus drivers to receive retirement allowances: (1) working as full-time employee for months equal to vesting requirements (4 years for pre-July 2007 members; 8 years for post-July 2007 members), or (2) completing at least 15 years of service as a school bus driver after July 1, 2024.

Amends Sections 25-11-103, 25-11-105, 25-11-109, 25-11-111, 25-11-113, and 25-11-114 to conform membership, creditable service, and retirement benefit provisions for eligible school bus drivers.

Effective July 1, 2024.
