Requires scout organizations to submit written requests to school principals, who must provide written approval specifying the manner, date, and time of the presentation.

Mandates principals notify parents at least three days before the scheduled presentation, including details about how students will be addressed and when the presentation will occur.

Requires public schools to provide parents enrolling children beginning in the 2024-2025 school year with information on water safety education and swimming lessons, including local options for age-appropriate courses and lessons resulting in completion certificates.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
