Amends Section 63-7-59, Mississippi Code of 1972, to change the light transmittance requirement for vehicles with medical exemptions from an unspecified standard to no less than 15 percent.

Allows persons diagnosed by a Mississippi-licensed physician with a condition seriously aggravated by sunlight exposure to tint vehicle windows to a minimum of 15 percent light transmittance with a medical exemption certificate.

Medical exemption certificates must be obtained through county tax collector offices at no charge and require presentation of an affidavit signed by both the applicant and their physician, plus proof of vehicle ownership.

Maintains existing regulations requiring standard tinted vehicles to have a minimum of 28 percent light transmittance and display a compliance label on the windshield.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
