Amends Section 67-1-81 of the Mississippi Code to authorize the Commissioner of Revenue to require permittees to use an independent, third-party age verification app/application on licensed premises when violations occur.

The age verification app must have at least an 85% accuracy rating according to national standards.

The app requirement can be imposed in addition to existing penalties for unlawful sales of alcoholic beverages to persons under 21, including fines, permit suspension, or permit revocation.

Applies to any violation of the law prohibiting sales of alcoholic beverages to minors, with violations sufficient to trigger the administrative penalty and app requirement regardless of subsequent conviction expungement.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
