Amends Section 67-1-83, Mississippi Code of 1972, to allow package retailer's permit holders to sell alcoholic beverages on Sunday.

Removes the prohibition on Sunday sales while maintaining the existing ban on Christmas Day sales.

Retains all other restrictions on package retailer sales, including hours of 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and prohibitions on selling to intoxicated or interdicted persons.

Maintains existing penalties for violations: fines up to $500, jail time up to 6 months, or both, with possible permit revocation.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
