Establishes automatic expungement of convictions for first-time offenders upon successful completion of all sentence terms and conditions, without requiring a petition or court hearing.

Waives all fees, costs, and legal counsel charges associated with automatic expungement for first-time offenders, with representation provided pro bono.

Requires courts to retain nonpublic records of expunged convictions solely to determine first-offender status in subsequent proceedings.

Amends Sections 41-29-150, 99-15-57, and 99-19-71 to incorporate automatic expungement provisions for eligible first-time offenders.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
