Brings forward Section 45-1-12 of Mississippi Code to establish salary scales for sworn officers of the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol and Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics based on rank and years of experience.

Sets salary ranges for Highway Patrol ranks from Trooper ($46,950) to Colonel ($119,500), with increases based on experience brackets ranging from less than 4 years to over 29 years.

Establishes separate salary schedule for Bureau of Narcotics officers using agent designations (LE-Agent I through VI) and command ranks (Lieutenant through Colonel), with comparable salary ranges.

Requires salary scales to be adjusted automatically if the Legislature approves across-the-board salary increases for other state employees paid from the General Fund.

Effective July 1, 2024.
