Establishes licensure requirement for professional music therapists through the State Department of Health, effective January 1, 2025, prohibiting unlicensed individuals from practicing music therapy or using the title "music therapist" or "LPMT"

Creates a 5-member Music Therapy Advisory Committee consisting of 3 licensed music therapists, 1 licensed health care provider, and 1 consumer of music therapy services to advise the department on music therapy issues

Sets licensure qualifications requiring applicants to hold a bachelor's degree in music therapy from an accredited program, be at least 18 years old, maintain board certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists, and be in good standing

Provides reciprocal licensure for music therapists licensed in other jurisdictions with equal or greater requirements and allows grandfathering for individuals with 10+ years of music therapy practice (5+ immediately before July 1, 2024) who apply by January 1, 2025

Authorizes the State Board of Health to set fees for applications, licenses, and renewals, with all collected fees deposited into a special fund for implementation and administration of the licensing program
