Creates the Mississippi Childcare Teachers Shortage Study Committee to study childcare worker shortages and how to increase affordable childcare seat supply.

Committee consists of one state senator, one state representative, executive directors from Human Services and Employment Services departments, and three representatives from childcare providers, economic development, and business/industry.

Committee shall study wage incentive programs for childcare teachers, compare programs in other states, and review solutions to Mississippi's childcare teacher shortage.

Committee must submit report to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House, and relevant committee chairs by December 1, 2024, then dissolve.

Committee members are not compensated or reimbursed for travel expenses; appointments must be made within 30 days after the 2024 Regular Session adjourns.
