Amends Section 83-11-101 of the Mississippi Code to eliminate the written rejection option for uninsured motorist coverage, making such coverage mandatory in all automobile liability insurance policies.

Removes provisions allowing named insureds to reject uninsured motorist bodily injury coverage in writing and eliminating automatic renewal exemptions for previously rejected coverage.

Removes provisions allowing named insureds to reject uninsured motorist property damage coverage in writing and eliminating automatic renewal exemptions for previously rejected coverage.

Eliminates the requirement that insurers obtain signed forms from insureds acknowledging the benefits of uninsured motorist coverage and confirming informed rejection.

Takes effect upon passage.
