Commends Locke Ward, a lifelong Jackson resident, for beginning cleanup efforts on the Frontage Road off I-55 in November 2023 after becoming frustrated with accumulating trash.

Recognizes that Ward's efforts have inspired dozens of volunteers to participate and motivated businesses and residents to raise over $50,000 in support.

Acknowledges Ward's creation of the nonprofit "Clean Up Jackson" to continue his work and recruit additional volunteers for the revitalization effort.

Notes that the Mississippi Department of Transportation and City of Jackson are now partnering with Ward to clean the area.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Locke Ward and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
