Recognizes and commends Jalani Davis, Ole Miss senior, for winning the 2024 NCAA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships in the weight throw on March 7-9, 2024, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Davis successfully defended her national title, becoming the first Ole Miss woman to repeat as an NCAA champion in any event (indoor or outdoor) and the first repeat winner in women's weight throw nationally since 2009-2010.

Davis won with a throw of 81 feet, 4.5 inches, ranking her No. 4 in NCAA meet history, and is only the third collegiate woman to break 25 meters in the weight throw and the collegiate record holder in career 80-foot throws (6).

Davis earned two-time NCAA Champion status, 10-time NCAA qualifier, seven-time All-American, four-time SEC Champion, and was a member of Team USA for the 2023 World Athletics Championships, joining Ole Miss as a walk-on in 2019-2020.
