Suspends all deadlines and provisions imposed by Joint Rule No. 40 to allow further consideration and passage of Senate Bill 2753 in the 2024 regular session.

Senate Bill 2753 creates the "SAFER Act" to regulate restrooms, changing facilities, and housing in governmental buildings based on sex.

Requires public buildings to provide exclusive male and/or female restrooms or unisex restrooms at minimum.

Requires changing facilities to be exclusive male and/or female or unisex at minimum, and regulates single-sex student housing and fraternity/sorority housing.

Establishes definitions for "female," "male," and "sex" in Mississippi Code, authorizes the Attorney General to enforce violations, and permits individuals to assert violations of the Act.
