Acknowledges Ridgeland's current status as a major economic and residential hub with approximately 24,340 residents, major employers like C Spire Wireless and Cal-Maine Foods, and recognition as a Bicycle Friendly Community and one of the 100 Best Places to Live by MONEY magazine.

Highlights the city's 2024 anniversary initiatives including a Virtual History Room on the city website and 20 new history trail markers with interpretive exhibits.

Directs distribution of the resolution to Ridgeland's Mayor Gene F. McGee, its aldermen, and the Capitol Press Corps.
