Commends Jackson State University Head Women's Basketball Coach Tomekia Reed for being named SWAC Coach of the Year four times (three consecutive) and BOXTOROW HBCU National Coach of the Year three times.

Recognizes Coach Reed's achievement of leading JSU to five consecutive SWAC Regular Season Championships, a first in SWAC history, with a current season record of 26-7 and 108 wins against SWAC opponents.

Notes that Coach Reed has never had a losing season at Jackson State and has led the team to a 51-game home win streak, with JSU receiving its first-ever AP Top 25 poll vote in women's basketball history.

Highlights that Coach Reed will be the first HBCU coach to conduct a live drill demonstration at the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Convention during the Final Four.

Directs that copies of this resolution be furnished to Coach Tomekia Reed and the Capitol Press Corps.
