Commends the Jackson State University Tigers Women's Basketball Team for winning the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Women's Basketball Championship by defeating Alcorn State University.

Recognizes the team's sustained excellence including three SWAC tournament titles in six years, five consecutive SWAC Regular Season Titles, and three NCAA Tournament berths.

Highlights individual player achievements: Miya Crump (1,394 career points, 11.7 points and 6.1 rebounds this season), Ti'lan Boler (333 points this season, 11.04 points per game), and Andriana Avent (2024 SWAC Tournament MVP, 1,060 career points).

Recognizes Head Coach Tomekia Reed as SWAC Coach of the Year for the fourth time and BOXTOROW HBCU National Coach of the Year three times.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Jackson State University Tigers Women's Basketball Team, Head Coach Tomekia Reed, and the Capitol Press Corps.
