Commends the West Jones High School Seastangs Girls Swim Team for winning their first MHSAA Class 2A State Championship

Recognizes the team's three-year undefeated Pine Belt Conference winning streak since the conference's founding in 2021, plus their third South State title in school history

Acknowledges Coach Lyndie Lyon, named 2023-2024 Swim Coach of the Year by the Mississippi Association of Coaches, who has grown the team to an average of 40 swimmers and led them to top 10 finishes for eight consecutive years

Notes the swim program was established in 1995 with only four swimmers by founding coach Meg Moore, who coached for 18 years

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to West Jones High School, Coach Lyon, and the Capitol Press Corps
