Commends Madison Clare (M.C.) Stewart, an Oak Grove High School student from Hattiesburg, for being named the first-ever female Angler of the Year by the Mississippi Bassmaster High School Series on April 6, 2024.

Recognizes that Stewart and her team partner Cody Keith won the South Mississippi High School Bass Nation Trail for 2024, qualifying them for the 2024 Bassmaster High School National Tournament at Lake Chicamauga, Tennessee.

Acknowledges the historical significance of Stewart's achievement in the male-dominated sport as inspiration for other young girls to pursue recognition and respect in fishing competition.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Madison Clare (M.C.) Stewart and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
