Commends and congratulates the Ripley High School Tigers Golf Team for winning the 2023 Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Class 4A State Championship.

Team finished with an overall score of 632 in the first year MHSAA moved golf from spring to fall competition.

Six-man team of Clay Adams, Jake Moffitt, Craig Bullock, Cole Adams, Jack Reid, and Bo Barefield won the championship by 18 strokes, with Jake Moffitt earning top individual honors with a 36-round score of 147 and Craig Bullock placing third at 158.

Credits Head Coach Nik Wilcher's coaching, the team's hard work, and superior sportsmanship as factors in achieving the state championship title.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to the Ripley High School Tigers Golf Team and Capitol Press Corps.
