Commends Daniel J. Seehafer, elected National Commander of the American Legion on August 31, 2023, during the 104th National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Acknowledges Seehafer's military service as a Navy chaplain, his ordination as a minister, and his education including a bachelor's degree in pastoral ministry from Concordia University and master of divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary.

Recognizes Seehafer's extensive service in American Legion leadership roles at all levels, including national chaplain and Department of Wisconsin commander, and his commitment to preventing veteran suicide through the "Be the One" theme.

Welcomes Seehafer to Mississippi for a visit to Gautier American Legion Post No. 1992 on February 22, 2024.

Directs the furnishing of copies of the resolution to National Commander Seehafer, the national office of the American Legion, and the Capitol Press Corps.
