Honors the Mississippi chapters of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. for their commitment to cultivating youth leaders and their Legislative Day at the Capitol on February 19, 2024.

Recognizes Jack and Jill of America, Inc. as a nationally distinguished organization of African-American mothers, fathers and children with 262 chapters across seven geographical regions, founded in 1938 by Marion Stubbs Thomas.

Commends the three Mississippi chapters (Jackson, Mississippi Gulf Coast, and North Mississippi) and their leaders for educational and community service initiatives including access to healthy food, swim lessons, financial literacy workshops, mental health initiatives, scholarships, and voter registration.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to the chapter leadership (Lori Hill Marshall, Remonica McBride, Michelle Ellerby, Teka McKnight, Tara Bullard Jones, and Lillian Hilson) and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
