Honors Mr. Luther Cunningham "L.C." Sims, born May 14, 1924, in Tupelo, Mississippi, for his service in World War II and community contributions.

Recognizes Mr. Sims's military service in the United States Army from April 7, 1943, to February 10, 1946, as a Supply Clerk with the 324th Truck Quartermaster Truck Company in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater.

Commends Mr. Sims for receiving the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with One Bronze Star, and World War II Victory Medal.

Acknowledges Mr. Sims's post-war contributions as a brick mason who supported construction of Tupelo landmarks, his service as a Scout Leader and class president, and his 70-year marriage resulting in seven children, nine grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Mr. Sims and Capitol Press Corps members.
