Commends the life and celebrates the 100th birthday of Mrs. Mildred "Madea" Fields Cassidy, born April 8, 1924 in Terry, Mississippi.

Acknowledges her role as a faithful member of Collis Hill Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. and her active participation in community service through the Senior Citizen's Center and Head Start Center.

Recognizes her as matriarch of a large family with 11 children, 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, built with her late husband Marcus Cassidy.

Notes her career as a cook for Jackson Public Schools and her longevity living through the Great Depression, two centuries, 18 U.S. Presidents, and 25 Mississippi Governors.

Directs copies of the resolution be provided to Mrs. Cassidy and the Capitol Press Corps.
