Commends the 2023-2024 Florence High School Lady Eagles Soccer Team for winning the MHSAA Class 5A Girls Soccer State Championship, their second title in three years and seventh overall.

The Lady Eagles defeated Lafayette High School 3-1 in the championship game at Germantown's Maverick Stadium, with goals from Kamryn Frazier, Emma Marchant (named MVP), and eighth grader Kadie Carroll.

Florence finished the season with a record of 20-4-1 after rallying from a 1-0 halftime deficit to outscore Lafayette in the second half.

Recognizes Head Coach Bill Hood for his leadership in broadening the team's soccer knowledge, refining player skills, and building a legacy of superior play and sportsmanship.

Extends the House of Representatives' recognition of the team's excellence both on the field and in the classroom as an honor to their school, community, and the State of Mississippi.
