Increases the DeSoto County Regional Utility Authority's maximum authority to borrow money and issue revenue bonds from $40,000,000 to $80,000,000.

Bond proceeds may be used for acquiring water and sewer trunk lines, constructing/improving treatment systems, paying bond interest, establishing debt service reserves, and covering issuance expenses.

Bonds remain payable solely from revenues pledged by the authority and do not constitute general obligation debt of DeSoto County or member agencies.

Existing procedures for public hearings, elections, validation, and bond issuance requirements remain unchanged; the increase only affects the maximum principal amount authorized.
