Amends Section 37-7-301 of the Mississippi Code to add new authority (ccc) allowing school boards to vote to provide health insurance to board members and their eligible dependents.

Health insurance provided under this authority must be paid exclusively with local funds and cannot use any state funds.

Applies to all school districts in Mississippi, giving each board discretionary authority to decide whether to offer such coverage.

Effective date is July 1, 2024.
