Authorizes bail agents to engage extradition services to return principals instead of personally returning them or reimbursing county costs.

Allows bail agents to engage law enforcement agencies when other jurisdictions will only release principals to law enforcement officers.

Requires extradition costs to be agreed upon and paid before extradition occurs, except in extraordinary circumstances.

Permits bail agents to request that a "Hold Order" be set aside and remit the full appearance bond amount to court if extradition costs exceed the bond amount.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
