Appropriates $100,000 from the State General Fund to Mississippi State University Extension Service for fiscal year 2025 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025).

Funds shall support instructor certification, training, and delivery of six youth preparedness education programs across all 82 counties in Mississippi.

Programs include: Mississippi Youth Preparedness Initiative (ages 12-19), Ready in the Middle (ages 9-19), Be Red Cross Ready (ages 16-19), The Pillowcase Project (ages 8-11), The PREP Rally (ages 5-11), and Prepare with Pedro (ages 4-7).

State Treasurer shall disburse funds upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer following standard appropriation procedures.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
