Increases the presumed cost of doing business for cigarette wholesale dealers from 2% to 4.5% of the basic cost of cigarettes under Mississippi's Unfair Cigarette Sales Law.

Increases the presumed cartage cost from 0.5% to 1% of the basic cost of cigarettes to the wholesale dealer.

These presumptions apply when wholesale dealers cannot provide evidence of actual lesser or higher costs of doing business.

Effective date is July 1, 2024.
