Exempts retail sales of groceries from state sales tax during the month of August.

Defines "groceries" as food or drink for human consumption eligible for purchase with food stamps issued by the United States Department of Agriculture or other federal agency.

Amends Section 27-65-111 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 by adding a new exemption paragraph (bb).

Takes effect on July 1, 2024.
