Amends Section 27-19-43 of Mississippi Code to require proof of motor vehicle liability insurance before issuing or renewing any license tag or decal.

Requires the owner or operator to present proof of coverage by a motor vehicle liability policy as defined in Section 63-15-43 prior to tag or decal issuance or renewal.

Applies to all license tags, substitute tags, and decals except those for state-owned vehicles and certain public entities.

Effective July 1, 2024.
