Creates the Retired Teacher Return to Work Task Force to analyze how retired teachers and school administrators can return to the workforce and reform current statutory frameworks affecting teacher retirement benefits.

Task force membership includes chairs of Education and Appropriations committees from both chambers, state superintendent, PERS board representative, Department of Finance and Administration representative, and representatives from education advocacy organizations and professional associations.

Requires task force to meet within 45 days and evaluate teacher shortage areas, current legal frameworks for part-time employment of retired teachers, options for full-time returns including private contracting, and solutions that do not negatively impact the state retirement system.

Task force must submit findings, recommendations for proposed legislation, and proposed rule changes to the Legislature on or before December 1, 2024, with a quorum required to approve the final report.

Task force dissolves upon presentation of its report; members receive travel reimbursement and legislative members receive out-of-session committee meeting reimbursement.
