MS SB2337

Allows school districts and charter schools to accept chaplains, pastors, priests, rabbis, or other religious leaders as volunteers to support student-organized prayer groups, religious clubs, "see you at the pole" gatherings, and other religious gatherings.

Prohibits school districts and charter schools from accepting as volunteers any individual convicted of or who pled guilty to an offense requiring sex offender registration under Mississippi law or any other state's law.

Effective July 1, 2024.
