Prohibits retail food establishments from using cost-plus pricing formulas on grocery items without publicly posting notice of the surcharge amount.

Requires conspicuous display of the cost-plus pricing surcharge at the retail food establishment via a sign on the front sidewalk within 15 feet of each entrance and on a sign inside each entrance.

Defines "cost-plus pricing formula" as marking items at item cost and imposing an additional surcharge.

Violation constitutes a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 and/or imprisonment in county jail for up to one year.

Violation also constitutes an unlawful trade practice subject to remedies and penalties under Section 75-24-5.
