Amends Section 63-11-30 to authorize a judge to find that a conviction of aggravated DUI is not eligible for parole or early release when the defendant acted with callous disregard for human life, with sentences up to 40 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Modifies Section 47-7-3 to add a new provision stating that persons sentenced for aggravated DUI under Section 63-11-30(5)(d) are not eligible for parole release.

Applies retroactively to aggravated DUI convictions where the judge finds the defendant demonstrated callous disregard for human life during operation of a motor vehicle that caused death, mutilation, disfigurement, or serious injury.

Effective July 1, 2024.
