Amend Section 23-15-973 of the Mississippi Code to require judges of both circuit court and county court to provide reasonable time and opportunity for candidates for Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, circuit judge, and chancellor to address the public during court terms.

Prohibit judicial candidates from aligning with candidates for other offices, political factions, or political parties during primary or general election campaigns.

Prohibit non-judicial candidates from aligning with or supporting judicial candidates, except for casting individual votes in nominations.

Establish that candidates who knowingly and willfully violate these provisions shall forfeit their nomination or have their election declared void if already elected.

Effective date is July 1, 2024.
