Prohibits knowingly buying, selling, shipping, transporting, pawning, receiving, or possessing stolen firearms or firearms with altered, obliterated, or removed serial numbers.

Prohibits knowingly altering, obliterating, or removing a firearm's manufacturer serial number.

Violations without a death occurring are misdemeanors punishable by up to $5,000 fine and/or up to 1 year imprisonment.

Violations resulting in a death are felonies punishable by up to $500,000 fine and/or up to 10 years imprisonment.

Effective July 1, 2024.
