Requires Mississippi Department of Corrections to procure a data collection and reporting system to collect and maintain comprehensive information on inmates, including identifying information, offense details, sentencing data, release dates, disciplinary violations, and rehabilitative programs completed.

Mandates the department publish aggregated data in real-time dashboard format on its website in machine-readable, publicly accessible format, with data updated monthly at minimum if real-time posting is not feasible.

Requires semiannual reporting to the Oversight Task Force and PEER Committee on prison data, probation and parole data, and post-release supervision data, including population statistics, sentence lengths, revocation information, recidivism rates, and educational milestone achievements.

Directs the Commissioner of Corrections to develop an independent, unbiased growth model to forecast the state's inmate population with a ten-year projection and monthly review process to ensure continued accuracy.

Takes effect July 1, 2024, with all data collection system requirements subject to appropriation.
