Amends Mississippi Code Section 27-19-56.549 to authorize separate distinctive motor vehicle license tags for supporters of the Most Worshipful King Hiram Grand Lodge, A.F. & A.M., State of Mississippi and the Electra Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star, A.F. & A.M., State of Mississippi.

Motor vehicle owners who are Mississippi residents may obtain distinctive license tags upon payment of standard taxes, registration fees, and an additional fee of $30.00 per tag.

Of each $30.00 additional fee collected, $24.00 goes to the beneficiary organization, $1.00 to the Mississippi Burn Care Fund, $2.00 to the State Highway Fund, and $1.00 to a special fund created in Section 27-19-44.2.

Tax collectors retain $2.00 from each application fee and deposit it into the county general fund; the remainder is remitted to the Department of Revenue on a monthly basis.

The act takes effect July 1, 2024.
