Amends Mississippi Code Section 19-3-19 to reduce the required notice period for special meetings of county boards of supervisors from five (5) days to three (3) days.

Notice of special meetings must be given by advertisement posted at the courthouse door or published in a county newspaper, with the notice entered in full in the meeting minutes.

Special meeting notices must specify each matter of business to be transacted, and supervisors may only conduct business specified in the notice.

Effective date is July 1, 2024.
