Increases daily compensation for grand and petit jurors in chancery, county, circuit, and special eminent domain courts from $25-$40 per day to $75-$90 per day, with amounts set by board of supervisors.

Increases daily compensation for jurors making inquisitions of intellectual disability, mental illness, or unsound mind and coroner's inquest jurors from $5 to $15 per day.

Increases daily compensation for justice court jurors from $10-$15 per day to $25-$30 per day, with amounts established by board of supervisors.

Allows jurors to return their fees to their county and designate them for local public libraries, law enforcement, the Mississippi Burn Care Fund, or other governmental agencies.

Effective July 1, 2024.
