Creates a nine-member study committee to examine moving parole and probation officers and support staff from the Mississippi Department of Corrections' Community Corrections Division to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.

Committee membership includes three state senators (appointed by Lieutenant Governor), three state representatives (appointed by Speaker of House), and three ex officio nonvoting members representing corrections, parole board, and public safety.

Committee must complete appointments within 30 days, establish rules and procedures at first meeting, and submit findings to Legislature by December 1, 2024.

Department of Corrections shall provide staff and support to the committee; all state departments and agencies must provide requested facilities, assistance, information and data.

Study committee dissolves on or before January 1, 2025.
