Requires prosecutors to send written notice to law enforcement officers before issuing a Giglio letter (notifying employers of credibility concerns) or adding their names to a Giglio list.

Notice must include description of the incident, officer's right to request relevant documents, and right to meet with the prosecutor to present a defense, with the option to be accompanied by counsel.

Prosecutors must notify officers in writing within 30 days after a meeting of their final decision to send a Giglio letter or add the officer to a list.

Officers may appeal a prosecutor's decision to the chancery court in their residential jurisdiction within 30 days, with the court conducting a de novo (complete new) review.

Effective July 1, 2024.
