Creates a nine-member study committee to examine police pursuits, including their societal impact, risks versus benefits, safe speed parameters, and which crimes justify pursuits across jurisdictions.

Committee membership includes chairs of Senate and House Judiciary committees, Commissioner of Department of Public Safety, Attorney General, one Governor appointee, one Lieutenant Governor appointee, one Speaker appointee, and presidents of Mississippi Sheriff's Association and Association of Chiefs of Police.

Committee members must be appointed within 30 days of the act's effective date and shall elect a chairman, vice chairman, and adopt operating rules at their first meeting.

Committee must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature on or before December 1, 2024, with staff support provided by the PEER Committee.

Committee dissolves upon presentation of its final report to the Legislature.
